Is changing the internal clock frequency mid - program ok?

Is changing the internal clock frequency mid program from 32khz to 4mhz ok? Im using a pic16f684 and want to use the sleep finction (using 32khz) and communication to a hyperterminal (4mhz?)...

Yes, you can change it any time you like.

You need to bear in mind though that it might take a few cycles to fully settle.
