Infrared Piano Help

Hey

So i came here to this forum because i need help with a project i have.
It´s a infrared piano.
We have a ir transmitter and a ir receiver, and when the receiver dosent receive infrared from the transmitter ( putting our hand in front of it) it sends a impulse to our PIC (16f877). The PIC will send a information to the computer via a parallel cable to emite a frequency to the computer speakers.

With that explained, what i need help is with the PIC programming (in assembly).
If someone could give me any help or ideas i would be really appreciated

Yes i did a led sequence in previous works
