it's from a MSI laptop mainboard, it says 4413/BA7G13
it is blown.. can you help me to identify that ic? the mainboard has
many similar chips 4468/BA7H95, 4805/BA7K13 there's a logo on the
chips with the letter A in a circle.
I think all the leads on the right are connected together.
I think three of the leads on the left are connected together.
I think this is a SO-8 MOSFET.
Please check and see if my idea is right.
i don't think it's for the power supply/charging cirquitry..the mainboard has alot similar ICs
one of them just now i found it's a dual fet..
the specific one that looks burned at the photo it's exactly above the VGA-out connector,
do you think it could be the cause for no signal from the VGA-out? (only S-video works)
now i need a replacement..any ideas for compatible chips?
if it's a MOSFET, then judging by the surrounding components, it's in a DC-DC converter. if so, i'm sure that it's not just the MOSFET that's blown. it's likely that there are other bad components around it as well as whatever device being supplied by the converter.
the only obvious problem with the functionality of the laptop is a broken display
and the VGA-out port which is not working, i can only use the S-video port
any opinions? also any ideas for equivalent replacement for the 4413 IC?
