I need a CV to MIDI converter schematic

I just built a 10 step sequencer based on the VOS sequencer and would like to be able to control a midi device with it. I am looking for a fairly simple (if it exists) CV to Midi converter schematic so i could control my keyboards via MIDI. Is this even possible? I'm fairly new to this stuff, but am diligently searching for an answer... any help?

That guy no longer sells them as kits, but the HEX files for his kits are all free to download from the site. You just need to get your hands on a PIC programmer or find a local geek if you don't have the programmer already.

Thanks! this seems like its gonna be a lot more difficult than i first imagined. I think i'll use that guys schematic though and get myself a pic programmer. thanks so much!

If you've only built a 10 step sequencer, why not just use a PIC to build a MIDI sequencer directly, rather than use one to convert from your hardware sequencer?.

Well, i still want to have a CV out, and I would like to be able to connect this cv to midi to other instruments too... Also, it would take up a lot of my pcb space and i'm trying to keep it fairly tight. I'll definately look into it though!
