thanks for ur reply....now i can understand my problems....and also thanks for your wishes....my problem is that even now i cant show interest in electrical and electronics....i will try to reduce this problem....
no yaar....no!i can change my attitude..but i cant change my parents attitude....
ke you are doing something that will benefit your sense of achievement, but only theirs.
i love my parents more than me....i want to achieve atleast for them....
...and what happens when they pass on? Will you go to the grave with them? Will you throw yourself onto their funeral pyre? Yes, you should strive to be the best you can be; your parents, on the other hand, should support you in your decisions - whether they are right or wrong, simply because they are your decisions as an adult (or soon to be adult). They should respect them, but be there for you to help guide you, and perhaps to cushion the blow (but not absorb it completely) should you fail. For failure, too, is a learning experience - indeed, it may be one of the best.
what is my next step....brother pls tell me where i want to begin to understand about electronics..
If this is your decision (and I implore you to think strongly on this - it must be your decision entirely - even if you know or think it is wrong in your mind, but that you are doing it of your free will for your parents and damn the future consequences to your well being as a person - which can be a decision you can make; I won't - I can't - stop you), then I will give you the advice I give other beginners:
1) Find and purchase copy of Grob's Basic Electronics - this book is essentially an EE101 college-level textbook; you should have a good grasp on algebra (at a minimum) to understand it. As a textbook, for a new edition (I think it is on the 10th edition right now) it is very expensive ($100.00+ USD) - however, if you can't afford that, an older and used edition will serve you quite well, and can be found online or via other sources for a fraction of the cost of a new edition.
2) Find and purchase copies of Forrest M. Mims III's (http://www.forrestmims.org/) "Engineer's Mini-Notebooks" series; these aren't textbooks, so they won't be as expensive, but they have a wealth of information that will be useful as you learn.
3) Visit and read this site: http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/ - it's UK centric, but still contains very valuable information and tutorials for the beginner.
4) Make judicious use of these forums here at Electro-Tech; many questions and answers have been submitted here on a wide range of subjects...
5) Google, as always, is your friend - use it to search for answers and help, of course - but on a different note, check out back-issues of Popular Science and Popular Mechanics on Google Books; there's a wealth of information in those magazines as well (search for issues published pre-1980 or thereabouts). Some of it may or may not not be relevant to today's world, but it still might serve to pique your interest, or answer a question you couldn't find the answer to elsewhere. Also note that there are some older (some "ancient") books on electronics and electrical theory on there, they might be helpful as well (just be aware of context and publication dates - as some things discussed may or may not be possible to find anymore).
6) Check out other sites like the Internet Archive, as well as Library of Congress holdings; you may also research what your own country provides - in fact, don't be hesitant to visit and obtain books from libraries or used book sellers - sometimes a wealth of information can only be found in dead-tree sources.
Good luck with your studies.
Anyone pls solve my problem..
First of all, just cut the histrionics.i cant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!pls help!!!!!!!
Well whos fault is that?i wasted nearly 5 - 6 months without studying

It wont cut any custard on this site.

Just suck it up, draw a line under it and move on.
If you dont have the ability to learn the technical stuff, get yourself a job driving a tuk tuk.

brother i am not such a rich to purchase those books.....is this site enough to understand basics...
www.kpsec.freeuk.com/
No matter what disciple you study, there will always be "those courses". What did "Dynamics" have to do with Electrical Engineering. Or how about Intro to Feminest Theory?
Get the piece of paper. Learn to learn on your own. You'll be doing it for the rest of your life.
I'd rather see an Ethics course considering all of the world's troubles: Japan; The Gulf spill; The collapse of the financial system; Bernie Madoff and any number of CEO's and politicians. Here, the politicians can't even follow the law. What do they do --- resign.
That site can get you started, but as soon as possible, you really should look into at least finding an old copy of Grob's Basic Electronics. I am pretty certain the edition I have (which I got from a technical school here in Phoenix back in 1991 - I believe its a fourth edition) would only run you around $10.00 USD maximum (I wouldn't pay much more for it). Now, I understand that even this sum may be beyond you or your parent's means at this time (I don't know your situation, so forgive me for my assumptions), but, by saving a little at a time, it should be possible to get a copy. It will be far more useful for you in the long run to have such a book. The internet is fine and everything, but it isn't as organized toward teaching electronics and electronic/electrical theory; while you could probably find everything you need, it wouldn't be presented in the logical step-by-step order as found in Grob's (complete with end-chapter quizes and such - it's a textbook, after all).
Ok brother i am going to buy that book..can i get it in Indian markets..or by e-shopping??
