Hi,
How do you best shut down the ICE2HS01G LLC controller?

You can either take the LOAD pin to ground...or take the VIN_SENSE pin to ground.......but the VIN_SENSE pin will make you wait 50us for shutting down, after its been grounded...whereas LOAD pin to GND gives instant shut down.

But VIN_SENSE only needs taking below 1.2V..whereas LOAD pin needs to be taken below 0.1V.....which may be impossible for a BJT.
So how would you shut down the ICE2HS01G?

Thanks, though sect 3.10 concerns the Enable pin, which is a latched shut down, needing a power cycle to bring it back.......so my apologies, we are needing a non-latched shutdown.

Shorting SS to ground would increase the switching frequency, which is a step in the right direction.....and we could achieve that by shorting the FREQ pin to gnd aswell...but really, we want to stop it from switching............maybe shorting SS to gnd does that...hmmm...thanks for the info, ill look into it.
