Hi,
I want to make a 8 Mhz Crystal oscillator, but I dont know how to build it.
I have been looking at a lot of Oscillator circuits. Colpitts Oscillator, Pierce oscillator and so on. But all of the circuits have a lot components, and I dont know the sizes of them and how to calculate them.

Can anyone please help me to make the 8 mhz Oscillator circuit and tell me how to calculate the sizes of the components and so on?

I am using a 8 mhz crystal, and have to use a transistor circuit to build it.

Here's a nice example. **broken link removed** Follow the steps, 1 - 2 -3 etc. and it should work out.

With the experience you gain, the next time it will be easy.
