Is it possible to install a household plug into a vehilce, so that an inverter is not needed?

Nope, you need some way to conver 12volts to 120 volts.. not only that, you need to convert that 12 volts from Direct current, DC, into Alternating currecnt, AC.
there is no simple way of wiring it.. tis just not possible. you need an inverter...wiring the inverty is easy tho, you just connect it to a 12v connection, like the cigarett plug, or u make a connection somewhere, making sure that posative and negative are connected to the correct terminals.. if its a red and black syatem, red carrys currect, black is ground, in a "lined" wire, where there are two uncolored wires, or two black wires, the wire with the white line on it is USUALY the posative, or the 12v, and the other is ground... the BEST way to determin this is using a multimeter or polarity tester.... if you dont have acces to these, then you will need to find somone who does, ebcause it cant be guaranteed...then u just plug in the device and ur set.

DO NOT guess... if u dont know, thats an Awfull lot of amperage, over 500 Amps, possibly more with better, bigger batteries... make a dead short and the wire may catch on fire, if not fused.... if you conect the terminnals backwards, you will proly blow the inverter , so dont try it unless you can... bring it back for another one? heheh
