I can get the MRF24J40 for $9.00us quantity one. That seems very good. I need a mesh network. My ability to program is a little short. The ZigBee is easy to talk to. I have not read the MRF24J40 manual. It needs to be as simple as sending commands at a serial port for me to use it.
The beagle bone black is my choice because:
