High speed A/D

Thanks everyone. I think I can take it from here. I'll try using the threshold method to see if it will work and save the A/D idea in case I have false trigger problems than cannot be resolved. If anyone has any additional comments, please feel free to continue with your comments particularly if they are for a just-in-case A/D solution.
