HF start not working om Telwin Supertig 180 AC/DC

Hi.
I just got a brand old Telwin Supertig 180 AC/DC :)
It working but I can’t get the hf start to work. I need to touch the material for it to start. Having used Google Fu a bit I found that it might be a problem caused by hf not working properly.

What would be a good way of finding the error? If the HF generator was cheap I would start with replacing it but it’s around 400$ I think so that’s not a really good start. Maybe hook it up to the scope somehow? I’m not sure what I should look after though :oops:
Any help is very much appreciated.
