What does the error message shown below mean and how may I resolve it? I'm using a 16F690.

Not into Linker - but MC manual DS33014G MPAsm Users Guide, page 210 Mplinker Errors does give a lengthy description and actions.

The section UDATA_SHR is the shared area from 0x70 to 0x7f and your variables won't fit in that section. Try changing it to UDATA.
