u'll need to know how to call a function in dll from vb --refer msdn .
get the inpout32.dll (i think it has a sample vb app) from net

create a new windows form application , place a textboxe and one button
name/id the text box input_val (in the property sheet).
double click the button (u placed) , it will show the code editor
place this code
Code:
out(888,input_val.text)
.
and ur done :)
