I have an IC component that is giving us problems on a back plane. It looks like a 6 pin soic or maybe a sot23-6. The top marking is ATFAU with a straight hoziontal line over the T. I have uploaded a photo of the part. the board is made by Tyan/Mitac so it is coming from Asia.
Can anyone help identify who is the manufacturer? And can I purchase it anywhere?
Hi Cowboybob:
This is on a backplane in multiple locations, one has burned up. We believe it is a LED driver chip. We have about a hundred boards that we would like to repair if we could purchase/find the chip.

Then again, if you have hundreds of those boards and each has bunches of those chips, it would seem that dedicating several of the boards to service as "hangar queens" and harvesting them for good chips to get the remainder of the boards going would be prudent.
