I would like to identify, the connector for a battery pack shown in this URL

**broken link removed**

Pitch is 2.5 or 2.54 mm with square pins (0.025" guess)
Overall dimensions: 3.45 mm x 6.8 mm face and 7.24 mm L

It does come in black or white.

Thanks for looking. I tried again after I posted and came up with a JST EHR-2: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/jst-sales-america-inc/EHR-2/455-1000-ND

I did find JST on the connector and pin #2 is legible with a magnifier. It looks like a good match.

The pictures of the connector look like an entity from Star Trek.

The vtech phone system has worked out really well, The charger bases, I'm trying to reverse engineer. They aren't chargers. They are in effect current limiters with the ability to detect if current is flowing. It will cause the phone to hang-up when placed on the base. I think the light comes on briefly when it's plugged in and stays on for a while after it's removed from the base. They work well with NiMh batteries.

I have two extra bases. One never worked and was replaced under Warranty. I forgot about that. The other had a poor connection for the LED. It might take longer to fix it.
A resistor can be used as load to test.

Thanks for trying.

Battery connectors arrived. It did fit the vtech v2600 series battery packs. So, it's a JST series EHR-2 or EH, receptacle. https://www.jst.com/

vtech was absolutely no help. To get support, you need to enter the model # and then they that hone hasn't been made for a long time and the only thing you can buy is the battery pack. You will only be connected to a sales agent for a battery pack.
