I wasn't offended by the suggestion, I just wanted to point out why it was not on my personal to do list.
If someone else wants to do it I'm fine with that. Experience seems to say that the JDM type programmers will either run fine or never behave. It all depends on your PC and OS. A modern OS like XP or Vista will fight you tooth and nail, even worse if you're running the 64 bit versions.
Add to that the sheer number of PICs Microchip introduces in a year. Once upon a time people like Nigel would keep the list to his Winpic software updated but after awhile I'm sure it feels more like a chore and less like something you'd want to do for free.
