I'm Getting the +5 and +12 by using an 16VDC AC to DC wall plug and feeding it to fixed voltage regulaors. The problem is getting tthe -12. The regulator requires a negative voltage input, and I would hate to have to use 2 ACDC plugs.
if you only have the 16Vdc output from the wall plug you can use the ICL7660CPA integrated circuit, but with this one using an input voltage from +1,5 to +10 Vdc you can get the negative output from -1,5 to -10 Vdc...
I've looked at the ICL7662 that could give me the -16, and the applications found in the specs are for what I want to do. Now I have to find a place that sales it near me.
