Hi,
I've been asked to build a device that can mimic the sound made by a geiger counter.
Just need an audio generator that can be controlled by a pot to vary the 'intensity' or rate of the clicks produced.
Any ideas on this one?

the clicks are produced when radiation Gamma Alpha etc dependent on the window material. the more radiation , the more clicks

I think the pulses of sound from a geiger counter are with random spacing.

Make a random noise generator. Filter out its high frequencies. Then differentiate the resulting low frequencies into pulses.

That would give a regular rate of clicks, he wants an irregular click rate.
