There is a ceramic type eletrode for gas hob ignition. This electrode is conneted with a long wire. What kind if material this wire is made of. Is it a normal conductive wire or is it made of carbon similar to spark plug cable.
is it possibe to check the conductivity with a meter.

Just a normal wire.
....with heat-resistant insulation. Yes, you can check it with a meter.
