Hi,
I am trying to mix a 16MHz sinewave and a 100kHz sinewave together. so far ive found mixers similar to this: https://www.electro-tech-online.com/custompdfs/2008/03/0900766b80032a53.pdf
But that one has a built in oscillator which i dont need since i have both LO and RF signals. I just simply need to mix my LO and RF to get the sum and difference signals. Can anyone help?
You can use an LM1496. See the suppressed carrier modulator on p.4. You can get by with a single supply, with proper biasing. If you don't need amplitude information, you can make Re (pins 2-3) zero ohms. You only need about 0.5v p-p for good limiting.
