Fairchild is now part of ON semi (aka MOT)

I just read it (in) a datasheet.

I think this was announced back in November of last year:

Quite a big move for both companies though!

Goodbye to National Semi and Fairchild Semi. I liked both of them 40 years ago.

And if I recall correctly, National was the result of some people leaving Fairchild. Later, a great deal of Fairchild's device product line was acquired from National. Now they have each gone their separate ways National and Fairchild have gone to T.I and ON (which has its own story) respective.
