Hi,
That's interesting. So the site did not do too well? That's what i thought might happen with a forum or site dedicated to purely electronics. There are a lot of people interested in things like TV's, radios, PC's, cell phones, etc., but not that many overall that are interested in the circuits themselves that are used to create these wonderful products. Most people would prefer to go out and buy a LED torch rather than build their own like many of us do here. My best lights i either designed and built myself (simple circuits really) or else i modified a device's circuit to work the way i wanted it to work. Not many people want to get that involved with it as i think you need a basic love of electricity to get into it that much. People LOVE electronic gadgets, but they do not love electricity itself.
Also, sorry to hear the shipping was so huge on that one small item. I didnt realize it was that much to ship there. I wonder if it would be cheaper if by USPS Priority mail? I had shipped to Australia a few times for much cheaper than that using Priority mail so that's why i ask. I used to make four channel electronic voltmeter chips and sell them and some in AU bought them
But back to the main topic, are those two sites then considered to be 'affiliates' because they are linked to on this site?
Thanks
