I'm searching for a very simple & low cost design for a digital compass.
I've searched for parts but they're all very costly.
Please give suggestions/links for a hobbyist digital compass.
Oh....can't help you there THe few things you can get for $30 will still need a processor to do the math to turn it into NWSE compass readings since they are just magnetometers.
Well you did help there... is the hall effect sensor COM-09312 sensitive enough towards the earth's magnetic field?
I am gonna use a PIC for the input processing anyways.
