I have a set top box that has it's audio and video out of sync. Has anyone had this happen before (and fixed it)? Please could you tell me as it is awfully hard to watch TV at the moment?
Sometimes the audio that is fed through the HDMI interface is optimized for zero delay, but audio fed out of the RCA connectors at baseband is advanced in time just because the designers didn't care about that output very much. External home theater amps often include the ability to tune the audio delay to compensate for this. What interface are you using between the stb and TV?
