dtmf

i am wanting to decode dtmf tones directly from a phone line. the dtmf tones will be coming in at 40ms between tones.

does anybody know where i might get a device to do this??

MT8870 give You BCD from DTMF.

I guess he's talking about Clare Inc.'s **broken link removed**. It will convert your signals to 4-bit characters that correspond to the row & column values. It also has a few other useful features like dial tone suppression and power-down mode for M-8870-02. Plus, the interdigit pause can go as low as 40ms in most cases.
