Driving LEDs with a BF245C

Hi

A while ago, I found a circuit for driving red, yellow or green LEDs with a BF245C and a resistor. The beauty of this circuit is that you could use a voltage between 3 and 30 volts.

I have subsequently lost the circuit. Can anyone help me with how the circuit is?
