drill battery

I used to save old 7.2V Makita drills when the batteries gave up . The new battery was about $85 and the drill new was $120 at the time . I connected them up to the 12 Volt system to use on my boat and usually got a few extra years out of them . No modification , just gutted the battery and put fixed wires in with alligator clip ends
