Dongle in Terminal Server VM

I am using USB redirector software the trial version to check if this software will work for our needs. I have a SafeNet dongle-key for a few software on a physical server that I'm trying to pass through to a Hyper V VM that's our Terminal Server (Server 2008 R2)

I can connect to the dongle through the client-side and that I also see it come up in the device manager, however when launching the software It says it doesn't discover. I would like this to be accessible to my users when they log on to the Terminal server under their session. It cannot be in a console session. can this be done? or do I need to use a network USB solution (hardware)?

I tried a similar factor from my own laptop (using the client to connect to my physical server) and it worked without a problem.

A good option for accessing dongles using software on the example of Donglify. a big plus is that multi-connectivity and virtual machine support are possible.
