Does anyone try to use AT89C51SND1 mp3 decoder?

Is this most likely to be programmed by in-cricuit programming software rather than using a universal programmer?

Or any other better chip set to use

The controller is compact and full of features. BUT check out the ERRATA sheet. It has lot of known bugs. So read it carefully before proceeding.

Check out www.pjrc.com for complete and working project on MP3 player based on 89C51/52 ....(Check out the uC. I don't remember it exactly ...but its 8051 derivative. Thats for sure)
