How bright (dim?) is this LyTec wire?
Two AAA alkaline batteries can supply 45mA for 20 hours when their 3V drops to 2V. If the inverter is 80% efficient, then a whopping 108mW is lighting the wire. If you could spread-out the light of a single LED along the tube, at the same small power the tube would be very dim.

This is crazy....

Someone was asking the same question on the dutchForce forum.

I was really facinated and thought that it could be possible. I made several google searches. And I found a page about it at how stuff works as well...

I was really disappointed....Nearly cried. I thought it was for real.

I do not want to get excited and disappointed again....So I am not watching this post...So if I am explicitly needed, PM me.

And also this turned up
