Display Special Character

I want to display some special character in my Graphic LCD module. Does any one know how to convert Font into a bitmap format ?
Or any reference page i can refer to ?

MSPaint is the simplest program you can find to convert Text into bitmap.
Another program that has this feature is BASCOM Basic Compiler. It has in-built LCD font designer. You can download its free demo version.

Which LCD driver are you using? Is it HD44780?
