Hi all,
I stuck on my study about control system.
I required to convert the system to diagonal canonical form.
And also either the system is controllable or not.
I try to use partial fraction to solve it but didn't seems working.
Can anyone help solve it for me?
Thank you very much.

Hi there,

I can help you get started.

The diagonal matrix would have the roots of the characteristic equation
as elements along the diagonal.

To determine controllability, the Controllability Grammian can be used.
You should probably look that up in whatever book you are using.

perhaps you can cross multiply and use the E operator to get it back into a D.E. from there you can try new methods, realization etc...
