Designed a usefull product from scratch. Anyone else followed this lonely path?

Patents for profit and helping third world nations don't seem to chime. Based on your past posts I can't see anything patent worthy let alone safe. You'll need to do a prior art search and ultimately for personal use patents are worthless. Are patents even enforced in Africa? If you're applying for world wide you better have deep pockets and a good patent lawyer. Read Don Lancaster's case against patents.

There is a lot of sun in Africa, it could also be an idea to add solar panel on the case to help charge it/extend the battery life time.

You can buy wind up flashlights that work very well. I'm not sure what the OP has built.

Isn't South Africa on Earth? Or on their own planet? I thought they are a modern wealthy democratic country.
