design system to measure switching time of relays

hey ,there.
I was wondering if anyone could give me guidance or tips on how to design a system which will measure the contact switiching time of electromechanical relays.
I would be very grateful if someone could reply to this topic and help me out.

You need an interval counter and gates to start and stop the count.

This has already been asked in a previous thread, have a look at https://www.electro-tech-online.com/threads/pic16f630-calibration-code.6078/.

I'll ask the same question again though, why do you need to do it? - perhaps a relay isn't what you should be using.
