Hi

I got a analog 0-10V signal and I want to convert that into 0-100% (duty cycle) PWM.

ex.

if my input signal is 0V the output 0% (duty cycle)
if my input signal is 5V the output 50% (duty cycle)
if my input signal is 10V the output 100% (duty cycle)

I found this device: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/optocouplers/4693167/
but it is expensive and doesn't come with much info..

Does anyone know of a cheap device that can do the same?

In the end I want that PWM signal to control a solid state reply...

Design an oscillator using opamps to generate a triangle wave. Feed the output into one half of a comparator. Use the other half as your Vin reference.
That's how some switched mode power supplies do it.
