correct code method?

I thought I did it right?
I used the [ ] in the beginning and end.
there used to be an icon to insert code?

Look at your posts after you post them – you can see if it worked properly. If it didn't, EDIT your post until it does look right.

Use the code tags EXACTLY as I showed in the quoted post. Add NOTHING. Delete NOTHING.

before I go any further I need to figure out my hardware.
I added up needs = 38 port pins but only have 35 + 1 input only available.
10-leds
10 - tactle switches
16 for 8 x 8 led matrix
1 tactal for counter
1 for HLVD
looking at going with ADC for the 10 tactle switches but using 2 port pins w/ 5 buttons per port pin so a wider range is available.

There still is.. But you can copy / paste code in or type from scratch... BUT!! No syntax formatting for basic..
three dots and a down arrow.. Opens a text editor.. paste or type.. select language ( general ) and bobs your uncle..
