Convert AGC circuit from Single to Dual Supply

So , is there any advantage to converting this over to dual supply?

Not really, unless you already have a split supply - in which case you may as well use it as it saves you two resistors (R1/R5).

Not if I have to use those resistor to half supply the R7, C5, D2 and add another capacitor to the negative supply. I do already have a split supply.
