Controlling SRF02 Ultrasonic range finder using PIC18F4520

Hi everyone. I was thinking of using the PIC18F4520 to control and use the SRF02 (Ultrasonic range finder). However, this is new to me and I totally have no clue on how to use it and start on programming using PIC18F4520. I have tried surfing the net to look for ideas to use it but they are all either not using PIC18F4520 or by other methods.

Can anyone please give me some guidance on how to start, in terms of the programming, for controlling the SRF02 using PIC18F4520?
