Hero I know but not very practical or efficient. I converted a Multipla (Fiat) when I was stationed in Benghazi in 1962 to a hybrid using a motor I found in the sook (market). It was 110 V 4HP , I used 10x12V/ 5 ampere/hour batteries this gave me about 70 minutes at 40 mph. The engine was a 600 c.c. which I used to both drive the car inthe normal way and charge the batteries when needed.
