controll a toy car with dtmf

It's a really poor way to do remote control, just send digital control signals instead.
 
Connect some random pins from the microprossor to a dtmf decoder and to to the car. Apply power and wait for explosion.
 
UM911215b is a custom built IC. For this IC 12 switches are available out of



which only two are used. This IC is based on DTMF tehnology. A 9V battery is taken



as Vcc which is regulated to 3.3V by a zener voltage regulator. The capacitors



C1&C2 are provided to absorb any sudden variation in the supply. When we are



Engaging any one of the 12 switches a particular frequency signal is obtained at



pin 7 which is modulated by means of an ICMDT433. The output at pin 7 is



indicated by means of an LED.





DTMF signaling has many applications such as telephone dialing, data



entry, credit checking, and voice mail system control. A DTMF signal consists of two



superimposed sinusoidal waveforms with frequencies chosen from a set of eight



standardized frequencies. Dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF), also known as Touch



Tone or Tone Dialing.
