Control Zone Trackpad

Almost bought an HP Envy, but did some research and found it had this "thing". If sex was a computer, then the "Control Zone Trackpad would "ruin it". It's pretty hard to ruin sex.

What do you think of this input device?

I have the same on my Samsung laptop... Before I shelved Windows 8 I though it was neat.... Now, back on windows 7, It gets in the way as all sorts happen, to the tune of disabling the thing and plugging in a mouse...
