How can one design a BCD to GRAY convertor using GATES.Is there IC available for the above converter? I need details for conducting experiment.

BCD and GRAY codes are used in completly incompatible ways. What are you trying to do?

My guess is that you are building a wind direction indicator.
These usually use the gray code if an optical sensor disc is used.
