We have an OLD Johnson receiver that the choke burnt up on. We can't find any info to replace it. It looks like a small 2-wire transformer. My question is, what can we replace it with. Are the specs critical for something like this? Or can we just replace it with any noise filter, as long as it can handle the amps?

hi,
If you could unwind it, count the turns and note wire gauge, you could rewind it with new wire.:)
