Do you mean DM7474 or 74ls47?

i have circuit that need 74ls74. i have an ic tht his number is DM7447AN. i ask from a electronic parts shop: can use Dm7447An instead of 74ls47. he said yes. butbecause i was not it coul be i asked it here. now is it possible or not

Guy at the store was wrong. 74ls74 is a D flip flop. A 7447 is a BCD to 7 segment display ic.

but 74ls74 has been used for a 3part seven segment. is it correct ?

As said the 74LS74 is a dual D flip flop, nothing at all like a SN7447 seven segment decoder.
