hi friends
i have 500Mhz oscilloscope is three any idea that make it pssible to see 1Ghz signal.......... :?

Didn't you mention this before?

a 500Mhz oscilloscope will ONLY see upto 500MHz of the original signal.

I think Nigel mention a super-Het converter to down-mix it to within the range of the scope, but this comes at the price that you are not looking at the orignal

since you already have the scope, just try it and see for yourself...

Not much point, 500MHz is the 3dB down point, it will drop rapidly after that - no way is it going to work at twice it's maximum frequency!.
