bluetooth dongle hacking

I'm looking for feedback on what brand and model is the easiest to hack for adding an external antenna jack or pigtail.

I've found several examples on the google, but they're out-dated, the dongles are no longer available (or never were in my market).

Has anyone recently modded a dongle with an mmc-x or some other sort of antenna connection. I'm thinking RP-SMA, since I already have some RP-SMA rubber ducks, and pigtails for larger antenna

Any of them should really be easy enough to pop open to access the antenna.
