Hi,
Ib should be 1/10th of the Ic to turn the load on for any model of npn BJT's?
All transistor datasheets guarantee how well a transistor saturates when its base current is 1/10th its collector current. They have curves showing typical values with less base current and how poorly the transistor saturates, but no guarantee.
