Bass headphone amp beginner:)

Hey. I know almost nothing about electronics. I play Bass guitar. I would like to build a headphone amplifier for myself. If it's beyond the basics (soldering etc) then I may get someone to do it for me.

Would it be possible for a beginner to build this?

This headphones amplifier is extremely complicated. There are many simple headphones amps on the web. Go to **broken link removed** .

It would be tricky for a beginner to get this working, due to the discrete outptu stages. If you could, it would be a heckofa amp. On the other hand, it has a good example of a discreete class AB output stage for all the members who are presently interested in building one, albiet a low power version.
