i dont have a ampmeter so here is my motor: https://www.radioshack.com/product...._name=CTLG_011_002_007_003&product_id=273-258

It says 700mA under load. So get a 2A relay to be safe

Also, mind the relays coil voltage. A relay needs a certain voltage for its coil, it would be simplest if you get a relay with the same voltage as you will be feeding your 555 circuit with. Look at the datasheet for your specific 555 to see its maximum suppy voltage...

if you feed it of 12V then this one will do nicely
