Another antenna.

Attached are a couple photo's of the antenna element from an XM satelite receiver, it looks pretty simple, the yellow block in the middle seems to be ceramic. What would this type of antenna be called? The square elements separated with the dielectric reminds me of something I've seen before but can't place it.

That is known as a patch antenna.
